Wyndenrok
Cottage is located in
Northern
Michigan, comfortably rustic, built and named in the 1920's
and classic "up north". It
was Aquired by the Connell family in 1969 and is A
treasured summer retreat. A roomy porch looks out over
Northport Bay with
a glider, rocking chairs, and a large table for meals. A breakfast
porch off the kitchen has views of the bay and surrounding woods. The
sounds of Northport Bay set a course to dreamland for sleepy
vacationers on the upstairs sleeping porch. A cozy kitchen is equipped
with everything except food, available in nearby Northport. A large
open living room is centered around a stone fireplace rising up two
stories providing warmth on cooler days and nights.
A
second floor
balcony surrounds the living room and connects two bedrooms, a sleeping
porch, and a loft overlooking the bay. A sleeping bunk is
nestled
beside the fireplace downstairs. Wyndenrok comfortably sleeps six to
eight family members or friends. The bathroom, with shower, is cleverly
hidden under a wooden stair case. We have kept the original look and
natural warmth of Wyndenrok as it was built so many years ago, a family
vacation cottage, located on Grand Traverse Bay in the northern woods
of Michigan. The stone fireplace and fellowship of the families and
friends who stay at Wyndenrok provide a natural warmth. We
respectfully request your pets stay at home and do not allow smoking.
Wyndenrok
has become a vacation tradition for many families year after year.
